It's a pleasure to meet you!
Kristiana Reed (she/her) is a writer, sole editor of Free Verse Revolution, and a freelance editor and proofreader. Reed has been sharing her work online since 2016 and has self-published two poetry collections, Between the Trees and Flowers on the Wall. Both collections are available for digital download or on Amazon as paperbacks. Reed is an advocate for mental health and chooses to share her experience with mental illness, addiction and sobriety.
Since beginning a WordPress blog in 2016, Reed has found joy in working with others whether that be publishing and editing their work, interviewing creators, or reading and reviewing self-published and indie published books. This passion led Reed to work with a small publishing press before running Free Verse Revolution as a platform which shared writing from talented writers daily. Free Verse Revolution was relaunched as a literary magazine by Reed in January 2021 which publishes issues quarterly.
Through these experiences she has had the pleasure to work with many on their own poetry collections, anthologies, novels and memoirs, and so, she has finally decided to extend her editing and proofreading skills in a more official capacity. Her wish is to work with those who are passionate about their writing and who are looking for a dedicated individual prepared to read both carefully and critically to ensure the writer's work flourishes. She offers copy editing, proofreading and promotional/review services which can be found in the Services tab; all of which she does alongside her part-time job as an English teacher in a Secondary School.
